Honda BR-V- Cheap crossover for the Southeast Asian marketRates are affordable crossover Honda targets users in Southeast Asia has been launched at the exhibition Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2015 (GIIAS) taking place in Jakarta.
After the images previously leaked sketch, Honda BR-V officially brought to the Southeast Asian market, the first destination was Indonesia. Vehicle design is not too prominent, characterized by the chromed detailing on the grille, headlights, fog lights, cargo rates on roofs and high ground clearance. The overall design is quite imposing vehicle with 16-inch wheels sporting and LED tail lights.
Interior of the car featured in the slot conditioned air to the rear seats and dual front airbags. Honda said the car has a spacious interior compartments in the segment of small crossovers. The safety equipment of Honda BR-V include antilock brake system ABS / electronic brake force distribution EBD, vehicle stability systems, and technology support VSA departure sloping horizontal, downhill.
Under the hood the car is i-VTEC engine 1.5 liter capacity combined with manual gearbox or CVT number stepless Earth Dreams engine producing 120 horsepower, 145 Nm of torque. This is the engine are fitted on some small cars like Honda City over, Jazz.
Honda BR-V will be marketed from next year
Expectedly, Honda BR-V will combat market since the early years of Indonesia, the price of 16500-19300 USD. This car was competitive and Mazda CX-3, Ford Ecosport, Hyundai i20 Active in both size and price.
